"Evanescence" - Original Painting

Life is evanescent by nature; it's always moving forward and adapting, leaving behind what was once before. The challenge is to embrace the ever-changing present: the whirlwind ride that seamlessly incorporates a range of emotions from penetrating sorrow to blissful joy.

This painting is my interpretation of evanescence in life. To me, it serves as an illustration to live life with purpose; to recognise the beauty in each moment, even as it passes away. It causes me to both look inward and outward, seeing how the fragility of life contrasts with its timelessness. I hope that others can feel this whimsical evanescence when they look at my painting too.
